A long time resident of Hampton Roads, Erin Jewell was admitted to the Virginia State Bar and joined the firm in 2005. Her practice areas include asbestos litigation as well as workers’ compensation under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Ms. Jewell received her Bachelor of Arts from Old Dominion University in 2001. She earned her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2005. At Regent, Ms. Jewell was very active in the Moot Court program and was awarded Second Best Oralist at the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition.
Ms. Jewell is admitted to practice in Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is a member of the American Trial Lawyer’s Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association and the Newport News Bar Association.
In addition to asbestos litigation, Ms. Jewell also practices in the areas of general litigation, personal injury and estate planning.
