Bob earned a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and a Bachelor in Business from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

He maintains his designation as a Certified Public Accountant in both Virginia and the District of Columbia. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has awarded Bob the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential. He is a candidate for certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Bob is a graduate of the Newport News Citizens Police Academy and is an NRA Certified Instructor.  Bob is a volunteer with the Community Tax Law Project which provides assistance on a pro bono basis to individuals experiencing difficulty with taxation issues.
