Alex Coletrane is a Litigation Partner with Patten, Wornom, Hatten and Diamonstein and a dedicated advocate for his clients. Coletrane has represented, and continues to represent, clients for personal injury, commercial litigation, workers compensation, landlord/tenant disputes, construction law, medical malpractice, traffic violations and product liability matters.

Coletrane has significant litigation experience and has negotiated numerous settlements for his clients across Hampton Roads. He takes pride in representing his clients and insuring that his clients understand the litigation process.

Coletrane joined the firm in 2009 and started his career in the asbestos litigation department where he represented asbestos victims. Coletrane has been on trial teams involving multi-million dollar product liability verdicts, including successfully prosecuting the case of Bristow v. John Crane, Inc., a mesothelioma jury trial that was one of “Virginia’s Largest Verdicts of 2012.”
