JEANNETTE M.
DODSON-O'CONNELL

ATTORNEY

Jeannette M. Dodson-O’Connell is an associate with Patten, Wornom, Hatten & Diamonstein, L.C.  She began working for the firm in 2016 and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2017.   Her practice focuses on representing asbestos victims and their families.  

 

Regent University School of Law conferred upon Ms. Dodson-O’Connell her Juris Doctor in 2009.  In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in Political Science with concentrations in Pre-Law and International Relations as well as a minor in Geography.

Though not a native, Jeannette has been proud to call Newport News home since her family moved to the peninsula in 1981 and she started first grade with Newport News Public Schools. She and her husband, Leo Kevin O’Connell, along with their four children, stay very active in the community between a wide variety of children’s sports teams, boy scouts, and various civic and charitable organizations
